I hope you don't mind dahlias. Again. Right now I have FIVE bouquets in my…
Eye Candy Friday
This feather and fan scarf knit from Koigu is one of the simplest scarves I’ve ever made. Yet I never fail to get a compliment when I wear it. Simple is good. Colorful is terrific.

That’s beautiful! How many skeins did you use?
Ya know, I’ve intended to make one of those for forEVER. I’ve even got the yarn. I should really get on that.
beautiful. i love colorful
Koigu is eye candy for sure and in that pattern it’s simply stunning. I can see why you get lots of compliments.
I love that scarf! Do you happen to recall the pattern? It’s so great looking!
Oooh! Very pretty!, esp on this snowy white day!
Very yummy, and it’s not even edible!
~drool~ Gorgeous!
The color and texture together are very eye catching!
I’m a big feather and fan fan but that takes it to another level. That’ll make March more palatable! Is it worsted weight or thinner?
Fantastic colors!
Lovely scarf. That Koigu is always so beautiful.
I’ve got one of those on the needles somewhere…in Koigu. I think I did more stockinette in between though. Love those colors! Have a terrific w.e.
I bet it’s really squishy and sproingy too!! Great picture! Have a wonderful weekend!! 🙂
What a lovely piece of eye candy for a gloomy Friday morning! You’re giving me ideas again…
No surprise you get compliments whenever you wear it – it’s gorgeous!
beautiful!
It certainly adds a bright spot to these inbetween season blahs! The color combo is gorgeous!
Gorgeous…did you use up different bits of Koigu, or use just one colorway?
(((hugs)))
It’s gorgeous. My neck is cold today … hmmmm 😉
Have a great weekend!
I love it! So pretty and it looks warm!
I would compliment you. Right before I stole your scarf. 😉
Yum! Perfect image for a day like today!
Love the feather & fan. Love the Koigu. Yum yum!!
Love the scarf, it’s definitely some good eye candy!
Very pretty :o)
Lovely. How did you know that was going to be my vacation knitting? I’ve got a bunch of STR yarn cakes packed, hopefully they’ll come home in a week as Feather and Fan scarves.
I just love that scarf
How beautiful! I am knitting a scarf in a similar pattern with two colors of Koigu. The knitting is going slowly though, because I stop so frequently to admire it!
Beautiful colors!
You always show the best eye candy! That is so bright & cheery (and beautiful), that it will brighten any day!
well of course you get comments – it’s fabulous!
That’s wonderful!
That’s just beautiful. I’m working on a feather and fan scarf in silk. I really love that pattern.
It’s beautiful and I LOVE Koigu 😉
I can see why! Very eye-catching and perfect entry for today. Have a wonderful weekend, and thanks so much for your love and support this week.
That is a beatiful scarf, I love all the colors! F&F is one of my favorites just because it can look so complex and interesting and it’s so easy to do. I’ve recently gotten my mother hooked (grin)
Lovely- great color… we all need some of that, esp in March! 🙂
Maya (mayarn) has a feather and fan scarf she wears that is made from Brooks Farm- I keep thinking I need to make one of those and you have confirmed it for me. Maybe some of the variegated yarn I got at spa… hmm.
I read your 100 things and “ghosts and books” came to me. I recently read (actually listened) to a book by Daniel Hecht called City of Masks.
It’s a Cree Black Novel about a parapsychologist in New Orleans. It was fun.
I just joined in the Eye Candy Friday postings and I think yours are beautiful.
I love that scarf! The colors are so beautiful. What a great “pick me up” on a gray day. Thank you
So are you! Beautiful scarf!
I haven’t seen this on you yet! But if I had, I would have said the same thing-its just lovely. And makes a pretty photo too!
Let your yarn do the walking! It’s beautiful 🙂
And Koigu feels so good as well! It must match everything you own….
That is one stunning scarf.
March 2 “eye candy Friday” you have a picture of the feather and fan shawl you have made. Could you share the pattern? I have been looking for a simple pattern that I can use my left over fun yarns with, and this seems to fit the bill. At least can you let me know where you got the pattern, what it is called, etc. Thank you in advance Judy
