Last Friday while at the conference I happened to look up at just the right…
Eye Candy Friday
Don’t be fooled by these pansies. It is indeed November in New England. Happy weekend, everyone!

Beautiful. I’ve got a few still blooming in my front yard too. In fact, one year I had a plant that made it through the winter. 🙂
Is it cold? We’ve been very cold and now await the snow. Your picture is beautiful.
Happy weekend to you too!
It certainly has been a mild fall. I wonder if this means that we are in for a tough winter?
I love pansies particularly in the fall. They’re like a promise of spring.
Have a nice weekend! We may see some snow.
You still have blooms?? Lucky you! The only color I’ve got left outside are my trees. The Japanese maple is intense, like a burning bush, but the Norway maple only turned a lackluster yellow this year, not it’s usual glorious peachy red orange.
Beautiful!! My beloved Granny’s favorite flower!
Pansies are not only colorful but pretty hardy. They also create a purple runny nose if crammed up there by a 2 year old or so my mother told me 🙂
Ooooo – loverly!
Oh wow, I’ve always wanted to go to New England! Deleware to be exact. 😀 I guess maybe because the wolves and bears of “Da Great North Ya you betcha!” get a little overwhelming. My friend hit a 300 pounder the other night and bought it from the DNR for $20. 😀 Hmmm…maybe Road Island.
Your picture reminds me that it’s time to plant pansies in our part of the country. I think I’ll put some in this weekend.
Oh! My FAVORITE!!! My mum bought me a late-season pot of pansies for my birthday — they’re a little nipped now, but so fun and exuberant while they lasted.
Happy Weekend, Carole!
Good one!!!
I always said that if I ever had a gardening show, I’d call it Beyond Pansies and Petunias, not that I don’t like them, but because that’s ALL anyone plants down here! That and crepe myrtles!
Happy Friday!
Pretty! Must get some in the ground now that the heat is (almost) gone. Them thar are winter flowers ’round these parts.
Wow………..so beautiful and in November? Go figure!
New England November… ahh.. you make me homesick. Reminds me of hot cocoa, crisp Macoun apples, crackling fires and lots of bundling up when we went outside.
Pansy love!
Happy Weekend, Carole!
Isn’t that what photo archives are FOR?
Aaaaahhh, flowers. Since it’s snowing here it’s nice to see a reminder that there is beauty somewhere in the world and all is not a barren frozen wasteland…
btw, I totally stole your blogoversary button! ;op
The best thing about pansies, besides their sheer beauty, is that they bloom in the cold. Lovely!
And it is definitely starting to feel like November! Brrrrr.
The pansies are beautiful.
I love those colors together!
We have new buds on our rosebush. Makes no sense.
At least the leaves are finally coming down. It was all green for way too long.
