This gorgeous yellow dahlia is called La Luna. It's what is called a dinnerplate variety…
Eye Candy Friday
Today’s Eye Candy Friday is a picture I took 2 years ago when I last visited Margene in Salt Lake City. I thought it was appropriate to show these beautiful mountains as my dear friend faces surgery. Send her good and healing thoughts, won’t you?
Thanks.

Margene’s mountain is gorgeous! I’ll keep her in my prayers.
Done! What a beautiful photo!
Incredible view, wat a gorgeous photo.
Margene’s in our prayers.
Incredible photo. I’m keeping Margene close in my thoughts!
Gorgeous photo – I’ve been thinking of her since I saw the update on FB. I hope she’s doing well!
p.s. I’m totally stealing your idea today (and giving you credit, of course) I hope you don’t mind… ;o)
Immediantly I new those weren’t New England mountains. Utah is one of the loveliest states in the west. So diverse. Have a fantastic long weekend.
Oh My! Margene is in my prayers.
And I knew those mountains from her gorgeous photos!!
(((hugs)))
I’m keeping the good thoughts going.
Wow, what a beautiful photo… I love the scenery there almost as much as I love Margene… strong vibes for the next several days are definitely in order!
The Wasatch and Wellsville Ranges up there are especially gorgeous. Prayers heading northeast to Margene!
Beautiful, Carole. Thinking of Margene.
Love!
Thank you, my friend. I appreciate all the good thoughts and prayers. They gave me a little reprieve but I’ll be returning next week for surgery and know I have all of blogland rooting for me.
love Margene’s Mountain photo. Perhaps we should rename it, for all of us in the knitting community will forever think of it as hers 😉
And yes, indeed, many good thoughts go out to her.
I’m a Montana girl so love love love the Rockies. And now I have a new blog friend to follow!
You know I will!
