Eye Candy Friday
Last Thursday I read about migrating butterflies and that it was the peak time for this in my area. I came home and found this guy hanging out on my asters. Coincidence? I think not!
I’m looking forward to a beautiful fall weekend. Hope you are too!

So pretty! We don’t get Monarch butterflies down here. (At least I’ve never seen one.) I hadn’t noticed that their bodies are spotted.
Enjoy your weekend!
What a beauty! Nice shot.
What a beauty! Years ago my older girl’s teacher gave her a monarch cocoon. We went through the entire process at home. Awesome memory for us both! Enjoy!
Beautiful picture Carole! Hope you have a great weekend.
Gorgeous … love how the center of the flowers sets off his colors 🙂
Oh my! That’s quite a shot.
How pretty! We don’t see Monarchs as often here as you do in the East. I tried planting milkweeds in a natural area at my old house to attract them, but wasn’t ever able to get them to grow. Imagine that, I couldn’t grow weeds…..
Very pretty. I feel like I’ve seen more butterflies than usual all summer long.
Lovely Monarch! We have a Monarch chrysalis on the side of our house right now – the grand unveiling should be about this time next week. I’m hoping to get pictures before it heads off to sunny Mexico. 🙂
Lovely! I tried to get butterfly pictures last week but they kept flying away. Uncooperative gits!
What a beautiful photograph. Have a great weekend Carole!
