This gorgeous yellow dahlia is called La Luna. It's what is called a dinnerplate variety…
Eye Candy Friday
I sometimes think these Goldilocks Rocks Bidens are prettier from the back than they are from the front. I love their pretty yellow petals and their delicate, trailing stems.
It’s the first weekend in June – make it a good one!

How lovely! One part of my perennial garden is looking better, but I still need more spring blooming plants in there. I had divided my irises so they are rather meager and slow to bloom. Peonies are popping, but I’ll miss them as I’m in Maine π
Oh, that’s lovely! Happy June! This first weekend is the only weekend that I don’t have something planned… I’m sure I’ll find something to do. You have a fun one, too, Carole!
I love that you noticed the backside of the flowers. That photographer’s eye! I’m looking forward to this first weekend in June! I hope you enjoy yours, Carole.
First Friday in June…what a lovely thought. We may even have good weather at least good enough to be in the garden and visit the chickens. I love the delicate stem of your pretty yellow flower.
very pretty! and yes, the backside is lovely.
Who knew?? That a backside could be so fetching. π
Gotta love something that has a prettier backside than front π I think I may have to pick up some flowers when I hit the farm this afternoon! Have a great weekend π
So delicate! Just lovely.
So tiny and perfect.
Happy Friday!
love LOVING all the flowers! it’s lovely to see something different from what we have here!
Very pretty! The foliage looks lovely, too.
I had never heard of that annual! Google to the rescue.
