The last rose of summer. The first is full of promise of all that is…
Eye Candy Friday
I bought these delicious raspberries for $4 at the Farmer’s Market last Sunday. They were sweet and juicy and warm from the sun and I gobbled them right up.
I hope you find a way to gobble up something wonderful this weekend!

Such an exciting time of year, eating the lovely fresh bounty!
Lovely. I think raspberries are my favorite fruit, and I’m so glad it’s time. ; ) Happy weekend, Carole!
We’ve been eating raspberries right from the bush (at our garden). Berries warmed by the sun are so sweet, but I love finding one shaded as the cool juice popping and dancing on the taste buds is quite a treat. Blackberries should be coming on soon!
My no-pasta vow to myself fell by the wayside at our local Farmers’ Market. Bought some curlicues flavored with basis that we will try out tonight.
Oh, I can almost smell them. My parents had a raspberry patch and I had no idea how lucky I was to have those fresh berries every year. Wonderful!
I’m jealous! I haven’t seen any raspberries at the farmers markets around here yet. I’m hoping to find some this weekend!
yum! raspberries are my fave!
Love raspberries! Photogenic AND tasty! Stay cool, Carole — and enjoy the weekend.
