I took this photo of the pond near my office on a day last week when the temperatures turned frigid – that’s not foam you see along the shoreline, that’s ice forming as the water hits the sand. Cool, huh?

Very cool! I always love to visit the Lake Michigan shore once everything freezes to see the layers of frozen waves. Pretty amazing that the water can freeze . . . mid-ripple! Have a great weekend, Carole.

This is an awesome picture. We are finally filling our backyard rink, so we have ice. Not as cool looking as that, but yeah winter!
