The last rose of summer. The first is full of promise of all that is…
Eye Candy Friday
Brown leaves aren’t generally worthy of eye candy but when you get down on the ground and shoot them with the sun behind them turning them golden, well, they look pretty good.
I’ve said it before but it’s always good to remember – sometimes a new perspective can change everything.
See you tomorrow for Show & Tell!

I’m going to spend the weekend raking them. Maybe I’ll save all the really pretty ones and iron them between wax paper for a new perspective.
That is a gorgeous shot, Carole! I always love reminders to change my perspective. There is beauty in (pretty much) everything — once you look at it in a new way. Happy Friday!
You know how I feel about these lovely colors! Such a beautiful picture!
Thank you!
A great reminder to look at things a bit differently and see the beauty in everything 🙂
Perspective is everything! I would normally wish you a happy weekend now… and I still do… but I’ll “see” you tomorrow instead of Monday!! 😉
Vicki’s right…we’ll all be here tomorrow! Looking up, down, and all around, even getting on the ground will give one the perspective needed to bring beauty (back) into life.
Thank you about the reminder about perspective. Happy weekend!
Yes – I have been taking photographs from different angles and getting some interesting results. I love how the sun looks behind the leaves. Life is all about that perspective. Have a great weekend!
Yup, even those nasty leaves that have to be raked can look good under the right conditions! Pretty.
Have a good day!
What a beautiful shot Carole! Happy Friday and looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!
We are always only taking pictures of the light.
golden sunshine gives wonderful perspective! (as does getting done on the ground 🙂
