Weekending, With Easter
Did you have a good weekend? I did, and it included everything I hoped it would. There was a fun day of shopping with Dale, a quick stop in Plymouth, a couple of great evenings at home hanging out, and a wonderful Easter day with our family. I have pictures. Wanna see?
Plymouth Harbor on Friday afternoon. Cloudy skies, a little rainy and definitely chilly but still – the ocean makes me happy.
Coconut Cake on a new pedestal dish from TJ Maxx. Love.
Take out sushi from our local, yes LOCAL, sushi restaurant. So delicious!
Bunny napkins! A bit fiddly but totally worth the effort.
Easter Brunch mimosas. The ratio of orange juice to champagne definitely changes as the day goes on.
My first ever lemon meringue pie. It was delicious and reminded me of my mom’s.
The family at Easter Brunch. We had a great day together feasting & laughing. They are a wacky bunch and I’m so glad they are mine.

Love the family photo with all the smiling faces!
When I come to visit may I request a lemon meringue pie? It’s my favorite and yours looks amazing!
Looks like a great weekend! And the meringue turned out perfectly!
Every one of the pictures made me smile.
Delightful! What a perfect weekend . . . and That Pie! Oh, Carole. YUM! Best of all (besides no snow in that first photo) — your fabulous family photo. XO
You get all the best out of the week end! Mmmm…mimosas…sounds so delicious. Your pie is beautiful (confession, I don’t like lemon meringue pie, but they do look gorgeous). Being near the ocean…wonderful!
Love a good local sushi joint. Mine’s only 2 blocks away. I have to be good & not go too often.
