1. I take daylilies for granted because they’re everywhere around here (even beautifying ditches and roadsides) but your photo has made me take a better look to appreciate how lovely they are, even in (or because of) their old age!

3. They make me smile, too! I love that yellow. Our naturalized daylilies are decidedly more orange around here… but not blooming quite yet! Have a great weekend.
