I picked 40 more dahlias yesterday and I suspect this is the last big bunch…
Eye Candy Friday
There is an abundance of crocus under the trees between my yard and my father-in-law’s. I took this photo of them yesterday and, if the weather forecast is accurate, today they are being buried under several inches of snow. Good thing I got out there, eh?
Get out there this weekend and have some fun!

Wow. We have shoots , but not a lot of flowers ?…amazing
Maybe the forecast is wrong – what a shame to have those pretty flowers covered up with snow! Enjoy your weekend!
Snowing here (Eastern PA) now…and a Nor’easter forecast for next week??!!??!!! Welcome to March! Enjoy your weekend Carole.
Pretty crocus… too bad about the snow! We have a high of 22F today (brrrrrr!) and I’m not too happy about that, either. At least it’s sunny. Have a great weekend Carole!
I’m glad you captured these crocus before the bipolar weather did. Almost 60 yesterday, but with four inches of snow today and 9-14″ predicted for Tuesday, we may not see flowers for a while!
Busy, busy weekend ahead! I hope you have a great one Carole!
Dang blasted snow…. Stay warm and have a fantastic weekend! XO
Stay warm and enjoy your nice fire this weekend. My crocus have been buried 3 times. They still bloom on and on.
I wanted to catch a photo of my hyacinth buds that are now covered in snow but I forgot this morning. Sounds like more snow on Tuesday too.
So true. My tulips are six inches tall already–everything is ready to get growing–and I know full well they will get nuked by a snowstorm! Glad you go the crocuses photographed!
Ach–we’re still buried in snow and forecast to get another 4-8 inches this week.
Those little crocus are such hard-workers — blooming at just the time we need a bloom the most! XO
Such a pretty promise of spring.
