Eye Candy Friday
I was certain I would have a blooming amaryllis to share with you today. She’s on her own schedule, though, and even though I waited until the sun came up this morning, she wasn’t quite ready for her close up. I’m actually enjoying the slow unfolding of those petals, though, and I hope you think they are worthy of another Eye Candy Friday post.

She is taking her own sweet time, but I’m sure the wait will be worth it!
My amaryllis is fully open as of this morning. My one bulb put up two stems and each stem has four blooms. It is absolutely amazing!

She’s just not ready yet. Patience, I bet she will be a stunner.
She is close…so close…but she is her own person…in her own time. Enjoy the buds too – they are beautiful. And hold promise.
