Can you handle another hellebore photo? I hope so because that's what I'm sharing with…
Eye Candy Friday
Every spring this lovely patch of squill pops up between our yard and my father-in-law’s. I love the vibrant blue, it’s such a rare color for flowers, and that old shed makes a perfect back drop to the whole thing.
Luckily weekends aren’t rare, one pops up every 5 days! Make it a good one!

Love squill and love that last sentence. Have a great weekend.
I had to look up squill to see exactly what it is. My yard is covered with tiny blue flowers and tiny white flowers every spring. While they are considered weeds, I always enjoy them immensely. I don’t think my vegetation is squill, but you have taught me something today, Carole. Have a fabulous weekend!
I had to Google squill! Wow! Beautiful!
Pefect! Just like tomorrow should be. Enjoy!
I’m another person who had to look up squill! It’s beautiful and I’d like some in my yard.
I never knew those were called Squill … but they are so gorgeous! I love each and every sign of spring!
I, too, had to look up Squill, but I’m glad I did because now I know what those blue-purple flowers are that I’ve been seeing all over the neighborhood!
oooh, so pretty! and a brand new kind of flower for me … love that google!
My parents’ backyard had a huge stand under the ancient lilacs the original home owner/farm had planted. They were always spectacular!
Love the photo, and the carpet of flowers! Eye candy for sure.
