Eye Candy Friday
The Dutch iris by my kitchen door are starting to bloom and they are a lovely. Honestly, everywhere I look now there is something in bloom and it all fills me with joy.
Long weekends fill me with joy, too. This one is not only the kick off to summer but also the one where we remember those who paid the ultimate price when serving our country. Take a moment and think about that, won’t you?

I’m timing my walk on Monday to include a service in the cemetery honoring veterans. It is certainly fitting to remember and honor them. Hope you have a lovely long weekend, Carole!
