Eye Candy Friday
How about a throwback to Iceland for today?

This is the Black Church of Budir, on the Snaefellsnes peninsula. It’s an extremely popular spot for photographs. It’s also one of only two buildings in town; the other is a hotel. It was only about 10 minutes from where we stayed and I’m glad we made the time to stop and take photos.
I hope you will make some time this weekend to take some photos.

I can understand why it’s a popular spot for photos, but it seems a bit stark, doesn’t it? I guess Iceland has that beautiful, but stark thing going for it. I hope you have a beautiful weekend, Carole!
Beautiful! Have a great weekend!
Iceland really is lovely and I hope to visit someday.
Interesting photo.
It’s beautiful with that gorgeous blue sky behind it. Looks like it could look very creepy under different circumstances!
oh my – I’m struck by the colors in that photo. I do hope to take some pictures with smiling people in them tomorrow – we are gathering to celebrate all the birthdays this season (for my immediate family, that’s everyone except Katie – six of us!)
