Eye Candy Friday

This flowering crabapple tree in our yard is spectacular right now (at least from this angle, but that’s a story for another day.) Truly. all the flowering trees around us are simply gorgeous right now. My drive to work is so beautiful these days . . . there’s a pink dogwood that’s breathtaking and a redbud that fills me with joy and so much more.

I hope your scenery is equally wonderful right now because, my friends, we have to find the hope wherever we can.

  1. So pretty. I finally got out for a ride and I loved seeing all the flowering trees and the grass is so green! My tulips were a disappointment but enjoyed seeing them in other places. Happy Friday!

  2. Your crabapple is just gorgeous. (But you gotta spill the beans about the “other” angle. . . Inquiring Minds Want to Know!) Our spring is just a bit behind yours, but the redbuds and dogwoods should be blooming soon! I love May!

  3. Lovely! I hope you have a great Mother’s Day, Carole, with sunshine and the time to see all the blooms. Hope is in short supply these days for women.

  4. Seeing all the trees blooming is my favorite part of the spring, and yours is stunning! Enjoy it while it lasts!

  5. The redbud here is stunning as well! And you are so right about hope… have a great weekend!

  6. Ooh, that crabapple is packed with blossoms! (But like others, I do want to hear about The Other Side)!

  7. Gorgeous Carole! It’s still the frozen tundra out here but we’ve got some buds! Have a wonderful weekend!

  8. wherever we can indeed. I guess I’m just glad this whole $@#K$@L# didn’t start when the landscape is getting bleaker. I feel for those folks in the southern hemisphere big time (of course they don’t have the particular &)*)&^^that is US politics)
