Eye Candy Friday
Those of you who commented on my dahlia beds last week likely received an email back from me telling you that I had one bud that was veryclose to opening. And sure enough, she bloomed on Saturday.
This is from a tuber I saved from last year and, because I really don’t know what I’m doing, I didn’t divide it fully and planted a clump of tubers rather than individual ones. The labels had mostly disintegrated in the peat moss that I stored the tubers in but I believe this is Rose Toscano. Whatever her name, she is gorgeous and I’m so happy that she’s blooming!

Beautiful! Because of you l was inspired to grow dahlias and zinnias for the first time – ever! They’re sparse but a couple have bloomed!
