Three On Thursday

Dialing in for 3 random thoughts this Thursday . . .

Thank you all for the birthday wishes for Dale! We spent the day at home, doing our typical at home things, topped off by pizza and ice cream as planned. It’s a great thing when your adult children are fun to spend time with, isn’t it? We told stories and laughed a lot and I think it was just what Dale wanted.

I haven’t knit a thing, despite declaring it the Summer of Socks. I’m off work now until July 8th and the weather is more seasonal so perhaps this will be the jump start I need to get things going. I make no promises other than to try.

I think everyone in Massachusetts (and perhaps across the country) is holding their breath while waiting on the Karen Read verdict. I haven’t said anything here about this because I personally know John O’Keefe’s family and I want to support them by remembering that he is the real victim in this situation. Everyone who thinks they know what happened (and there sure are a lot of people in that camp!) said the jury would come back with a not guilty verdict immediately but that hasn’t happened. And so we wait.
