The last rose of summer. The first is full of promise of all that is…
Eye Candy Friday
I have a few new dahlia varieties this year and this Crème de Cassis is turning out to be one of my favorites. It’s super prolific and the colors are gorgeous. My only complaint about it is that the stems are pretty short so it’s hard to cut and bring inside. The upside of that, though, is that the dahlia beds are extra pretty right now.
I hope you have a great weekend full of your favorite things.

Wow… lovely, Carole! May your weekend be as prolific with beauty! XO
Gorgeous (even with short stems)!
Beautiful, Carole. Have a great weekend.
That’s a beauty!! Have a great weekend, Carole!
I love this one, too — those two-tone petals are so pretty! Enjoy!
That is gorgeous! The only dahlia producing buds and blooms for us also has short stems. I’m using them in bud vases.
That’s a gorgeous dahlia. I ended up with mostly short stemmed plants this year. Not good for cutting but still pretty to look at.
