Sometimes Monday

Shows up and you aren’t prepared. You didn’t take any photos over the weekend. You didn’t read anything great. You didn’t do any knitting. You watched the Super Bowl and were unimpressed not only by the game but also by the commercials.

But you still want to reach out to your friends in the blog world. You want them to know that you are okay and just feeling uninspired. And also maybe tired of winter.

So you create an image on Word Swag and you write a few words and tell everyone to have a great day and encourage them to look for something that brings them a bit of joy today.

The end.

  1. Things I am happy about… noticeably more daylight… increased bird song… and yes, the Eagles winning! (how ’bout that halftime show!!)

  2. I’m not sure why Feedly was notifying me about your Monday post on a Wednesday, but my Monday wasn’t bad, and Tuesday was even better. I hope you’re feeling more inspired or at least having a good week.

  3. Echoing Bonny… in addition, I’m getting messages that your site is not secure. It’s probably Elon Musk’s fault.

And, OMG, echoing your sentiments too!! I’ve been giving my knitting the side eye for weeks. I’m ready for spring.

    1. I got the same security warning; it says your SSL certificate has expired? I braved it anyway since I didn’t think Carole Knits was now some dark web site. 🙂

  4. I’ve had a case of un-inspiration for weeks, hiding out. But I went to the Portland Winter Light Festival downtown Saturday night (against my inner no-sayer) and it was a mood lifter! I hope you find something to inspire you, too.

Also getting security warnings about your site.

  5. You must have sorted out the blog problem, b/c it’s loading for me tonight. I hope bandwidth is the only thing that’s been keeping yiu away & that otherwise all is well. Sending hugs…
