I’m back with a Tuesday Recommendation this week and it’s for a free app called TV Club. (My apologies to android users, this is only for iOS and iPadOS.)

I’ve been using this for years to track the shows I watch. The app has a page that shows thumbnails of all the shows I track, whether they are currently airing, between seasons, or have ended. There is a Watch List, which is an alphabetical list of all the shows with episodes I haven’t yet watched. There is a schedule, which lists the shows that have aired for the last 30 days and also the upcoming shows all the way out to 6 months. There is also a section where you can get recommendations of shows you might like based on ones you have watched. I have never used that so I can’t say how helpful it is.

The biggest advantage for me is that I have a place to immediately add a show when someone recommends it to me. And the next advantage is having a whole list of shows to consider when we’re trying to decide what to watch.

Let me know if you try it out and if you have seen a similar app for Android users please let me know about that, too.

  1. This sounds like just what I need — too many times we finish a series and I can’t remember “that other one, that so-and-so said we’d like.” Thanks!

  2. The sounds interesting & useful. I’m always making lists! Or saving/updating an email draft (I usually have my phone, so also access to email.) Maybe you’re grandfathered in? Because it wants me to sign up for a free trial, then subscribe. It’s not terribly expensive, just another subscription to keep track of! I’ll have to do more research.

  3. You . . . are the App Queen. As for me, I just keep a note of shows on my phone. (I try to keep my apps to a minimum. . . )
