Time for a knitting and reading update with Kat and friends.

The body of Hannah’s waffle sweater is complete! My departure for sleeve island is scheduled for later today although I wouldn’t be surprised if my flight gets canceled and rebooked for tomorrow.

I finished reading The Children by Melissa Albert. I am still listening to London Falling by Patrick Raddon Keefe. And I started Land by Maggie O’Farrell. Full reviews will still be shared when I write my monthly For the Love of Reading post around the first of the month
I hope you are knitting and reading good things this week.

I finished Calamity Club this week, and it was just the right book for me at this time. Looking forward to your book reviews, Carole, as always! The waffle is looking very good. I hope your visit to sleeve island is productive and satisfying.
Hannah’s sweater is looking good, and I hope your flight to Sleeve Island serves snacks. I’m anxious for your reviews. I have The Children and The Land on hold and have high hopes for them.
Hannah’s sweater looks amazing, Carole! Go you! (and I chuckled at the possibility of your Sleeve Island Flight being cancelled!)
Hannah’s sweater looks good. Love that color! I’m in the longish queue for Land.
I love Bonny’s thoughts about getting to Sleeve Island — snacks would definitely make that a better trip!! Hannah’s sweater is looking great, and she’ll be so happy to wear it when cooler weather arrives (a long time from now).
I wish you a pleasant sojourn on Sleeve Island. You are SO CLOSE to the finish now, Carole! And it’s going to be fabulous!!! XO
Sleeve island will be there when you get there. The sweater body looks great. I look forward to reading your reviews.
