Joining with Kat and friends today because I actually have knitting to show. And, no, it’s not the Waffle Pullover. It’s . . .
Socks! Feather and Fan socks from back.in.the.day. The yarn is from Scout, also a throwback to the old days of knit blogging, and they are a gift for my friend, Anne, who is very (very) into Halloween.
As for reading, I finished 2 books this past week. Country People by Daniel Mason and Helpless by Jessica Knoll. Both were published yesterday and I will share my full reviews at the beginning of August but if you can’t wait you can always check my GoodReads page.
I am currently reading Crash Into Me by Robinne Lee. I only just started but the beginning has pulled me right in so I’m hopeful.

That is a great match of yarn and pattern! Feather and Fan is one of my favorites. I’m still knitting kitchen towels and reading two ARCs. They’re okay but not great so I’ve been dragging my feet a bit. I should finish them up and move on to something really good!

What a cool combination of yarn and pattern for a Halloween sock. I’m knitting on a shawl and a vest. As for reading, I pulled an old novel by May Sarton from my shelf. Time will tell if I will finish it but honestly it’s almost but not quite like I’m reading it for the first time.
Ha! I’ve never knit a feather and fan sock, but that sounds like FUN!! And that yarn is great for a Halloween loving friend. I’m in the queue for “Country People” and plan to pick up “Land” this weekend from my library!! Knitting for moi is quite slow right now…like not happening…which is okay.
I just started reading Wait for Me by Amy Jo Burns. Haven’t decided if I like it yet.
I’m on designer vacay, so I’m knitting sweaters by other designers. Last week I finished knitting Luminos Tee by Yamagara, highly recommend. It’s well written and it’s like knitting a puzzle! All interesting angles, and voilà, it’s a fabulous fitting sweater with chevrons.
Currently knitting a Ranunculus, because so many people have knit them. I had to see what the fuss was about. Having fun with it, and it’s nearly done. US 10 needles, boom!
