Weekending, October 16th-18th, 2026
It was good to be back at the camper this weekend. I feel a little robbed of my time there, given that Labor Day was late, we lost one whole weekend to a nor’easter, and I lost part of another weekend and a 3 day weekend to my trip to Turkey and Greece. I am reminding myself frequently that I can be both grateful for that trip and the experiences I had and at the same time I can feel disappointed at missing camping time.
Here are three photos from the weekend:

Fred and George really appreciate the fuzzy blanket my camping neighbor gave me for my birthday. Did I mention what great neighbors we have had this fall season? They are friendly and kind and courteous. And also politically aligned, which doesn’t always happen when it comes to campers. If you know, you know.

The sky over the canal early Friday morning was pink but only briefly. We have a big front window behind our bed and it’s perfect for capturing this sort of beauty emergency.

And the foliage is really lovely right now. The light on Sunday was gorgeous and everything was just glowing.
I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I will start sharing about my trip tomorrow.

The boys look so sweet all curled up on their blanket! Ruthie has also been enjoying curling up on her fleece blanket as the temperature drops. I’m glad it was an enjoyable weekend in the camper. I hope you get some more in before it gets too cold!
It was such a gorgeous weekend here as well! The color is so good here as well! Happy Monday!
