Eye Candy Friday

March 2, 2007 By Carole

koigu_scarf.jpg

This feather and fan scarf knit from Koigu is one of the simplest scarves I’ve ever made. Yet I never fail to get a compliment when I wear it. Simple is good. Colorful is terrific.

That is a beatiful scarf, I love all the colors! F&F is one of my favorites just because it can look so complex and interesting and it’s so easy to do. I’ve recently gotten my mother hooked (grin)

Lovely- great color… we all need some of that, esp in March! 🙂

Maya (mayarn) has a feather and fan scarf she wears that is made from Brooks Farm- I keep thinking I need to make one of those and you have confirmed it for me. Maybe some of the variegated yarn I got at spa… hmm.

I read your 100 things and “ghosts and books” came to me. I recently read (actually listened) to a book by Daniel Hecht called City of Masks.
It’s a Cree Black Novel about a parapsychologist in New Orleans. It was fun.

I just joined in the Eye Candy Friday postings and I think yours are beautiful.

March 2 “eye candy Friday” you have a picture of the feather and fan shawl you have made. Could you share the pattern? I have been looking for a simple pattern that I can use my left over fun yarns with, and this seems to fit the bill. At least can you let me know where you got the pattern, what it is called, etc. Thank you in advance Judy
