Nothing Here

I got nothing. This happens every once in a while and I’m just stumped for a blog post. Quiet times are great for knitting and reading and tv watching but they don’t make for great blog fodder. Seriously, the most exciting thing that happened yesterday was that I made pot roast for dinner. It was delicious but, again, not much to write about.

I wrote the first paragraph of this post last night and then gave up. I thought perhaps if I “slept on it” I’d have more to say this morning.

Nope. I still have nothing to talk about. You know what you should do? Go hang out on the Ravelry forums for a while. There’s plenty to talk about there!

Have a great day. I’ll try really hard to have something interesting here tomorrow. Mwah!

  1. I fear this will happen to me soon. I was just lucky yesterday that Grant brought me a whole honkin’ whack of chocolate. (Lucky in more than one way, of course.)

May you see a whole flock of wild turkeys accompanied by a feral llama on your way to work.

  2. Sometimes it’s best just to take a step back. The one place you won’t find me is the Ravelry forums however. Some people have too much time on their hands. 😉

  3. No, thank you. I have heard enough (which means almost nothing – it doesn’t take much) to know that I’m glad I’m not spending my time there. I’ve got enough drama in my own life, thankyouverymuch.

  4. Peace and quiet and nothing to blog about is good. The pot roast sounds good. I should make one later this week.

  5. It’s that time of year I think to just kick back and relax….refuling before the warm weather starts.

I’m with Margene……..I have all I can do to keep up in blogland, never mind Ravelry..LOL.

  6. I’m always up for some good drama – especially othe peoples’ as my life seems to have a bit of its own these days. I’ll wander over there later! Have a great day.

  7. Pot Roast = Yum! I made diet soup last night. lol

Take care and keep out of the Ravelry Forums and the Emergency Room. Sometimes Less is More ya know. heh

  8. I’m actually quite okay — VERY okay — with the fact that I can’t tune in to Ravelry from my daytime computer. Well, I can, but it’s not a pleasant experience. I love Ravelry as a resource for yarn and patterns. (YAY!! Knitting!!) When I want drama, I’ll watch TV or a movie — ‘cuz I like mine with a little steam.

Pot roast sounds really good!! ; )

  9. I admire you for being able to write on as many days as you do! There are many days when I have nothing to say or show. 🙂

  10. ravelry’s been mildly scary lately, i tiptoe whenever i creep in for a peek. there’s definitely lots to talk about though! enjoy your quiet times – and the pot roast (my fav! hmm, might have to add it to the menu this week).

  11. I guess it’s just the forums I follow, but everyone’s been nice and yet both you and Susan are hinting that there is excitement or at least controversy going on over on the Ravelry forums… what’s up?

  12. I’d trade you places in a heartbeat. Seems like I have oodles to blog about, and not enough time in the day to get a decent post written. I don’t know how you do it all. You’re amazing.
