I tend to photograph tulips and roses and daisies – all the showcase flowers. I’ve never photographed the lowly baby’s breath before. And you know what? It’s kind of tricky. But very pretty with all the green and white and fuzzy petals and buds.
I’m not sure what to expect of the weekend. I was sure I’d feel all better by now and I just don’t. It’s frustrating but I’m going to have to just slow down and listen to my body.
In the meantime, I wish all of you a happy weekend and a Happy Valentine’s Day!

Kathode Ray Tube Said,
I know you’re a busy woman, but perhaps a slow long weekend is just the ticket. Feel better soon and Happy V-day!
Manise Said,
Happy Valentine’s Day Carole. Yup, your body knows best as frustrating as it is. It’s hard to keep the mind in sync with that. Rest up my friend even if it means being a couch potato for a number of days more. You’ll have the Olympics to keep you company.
Norma Said,
What Manise said. XO
Jeannie Said,
Take it easy and get better. There will be plenty of Valentine’s
Days ahead.
elizabeth Said,
You too, and I hope you feel better! Celebrate Valentine’s next week.
margene Said,
Be well, my friend! I told you not to over do. Do I need to come and make you stay in bed? If only I could be there to make some chicken soup. Take care!!!!!!!!!
kathy b Said,
Happy Valentines to you and Happy Olympics. THink how happy you’ll be when you can participate in everyday life again!
Dinah Said,
Take your time and listen to you body. It is going around and those on my staff who had it and came back to early were back out again. Don’t rush it. Dinah
Kate Said,
Careful you don’t push too much! You don’t want a rebound infection (viruses love to hide when you think you are feeling better and then whammo! they strike again!).
lots of liquids and chicken stock (avian cells have antigens that can illicit a increased immune response in humans if consumed over long periods of time…. so, yes, it is “Jewish Penicillin”).
Be Well and embrace the mid-morning and mid-afternoon nap.
Cookie Said,
Listen to Manise!
xo
Nora Said,
That photo is gorgeous.
Rest and knit. You’ll be back to normal in no time!
Cathy R Said,
Have a nice, restful weekend. Hopefully you will feel better on Monday.
Doris Said,
Glad you are feeling somewhat better. Take it easy and hopefully you will be back to normal in a flash. We have no choice but to take it somewhat easy with 5 feet of snow on the ground. Although we have been overdoing the shoveling a bit, cause there is no other choice!
Martha Said,
Happy Valentine’s Day Carole! I know Dale will take good care of you and you’ll shake this cough off before you know it
Jo-Ann Said,
Who knew baby’s breath was so pretty? It was good to see you last night, and I’m sure the change of scenery was much needed. Rest, relax, and hopefully you’ll be back to close to 100% next week
Happy Valentine’s Day, my friend <3
Carol Said,
Feel better soon. Consider it serendipity that you have the Olympics to keep you rested. Have a great weekend!
