Merry Christmas, 2014!
Ready or not, it’s Christmas Eve! Tonight my house will be filled to the brim with friends and family. We will feast on baked ham and Swedish meatballs, sing Christmas carols and listen to Dale read Twas the Night Before Christmas. We will toast to the season and good health and be grateful for the blessings in our lives.
I wish you all could be here, too, but since you can’t, allow me to take this moment and wish that you all find peace, joy and love this Christmas.

We’re having some friends over tonight for some wild vegan food, and tomorrow it’s roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, and sticky date pudding for the 3 of us. I’ve also made bourbon balls, peanut brittle and pressed Christmas trees, all a fraction of what my parents created, but lovely none the less.
Thanks for another year of providing a great way to start the day.
