The last rose of summer. The first is full of promise of all that is…
Eye Candy Friday
I’m still coughing and we’re ALL tired of it! The other day Dale brought me these flowers and said he wished I’d “get better . . . or something.” Hahaha. Good thing I know he loves me.
I know you all love the weekend! Have a good one!

Hang in there and have a wonderful weekend Carole!
I can’t believe you are still coughing; that sucks!!! I hope you get better or something real soon!
What does Al say? (I coughed for a month with what probably ended up being mycoplasma. My trachea still is irritable.)
You poor thing. Have you had a follow-up x-ray done? What a sweet man Dale is to bring you flowers.
My husband had bronchitis follow pneumonia a month or so ago. Keep taking it easy and getting good sleep, Carole. Enjoy your weekend as well!
Hope you were able to sleep last night! Thank you again for the sock yarn, I can’t wait for you to show me how to wind it (or whatever you call it LOL) so I can knit with it 🙂 Hope you have a great weekend, friend!
The lingering couch is the worst and there isn’t much to be done about it. The flowers are so sweet!
You have a great weekend too Carole – here’s hoping you’re done coughing soon! Looks like a stay-in-and-knit weekend on the way weather wise.
I’m still coughing right along with you… it’s so annoying!!
Here’s hoping the ‘or something’ is getting WELL! Ack, nothing worse than the hangers-on after an illness.
Sometimes it seems to take forever for the coughing to stop. 🙁 Have a great weekend!
Alstromeria, my favorite!
Have you tried an inhaler? That was the only thing that could stop the coughing when I had bronchitis. It was like a miracle.
How lovely!
I won’t worry about it too much until they start giving your cough surppressant as a gift. ;^)
Oh, I love those flowers…have a great week-end!!!
How wonderful of him to bring flowers! I have asthma, so the “lingering cough” is a fact of life for me – asthmatic bronchitis. You might ask your doc if an inhaler would bring some relief. It’s so hard to get your gumption back after pneumonia when the cough just goes on and on and on. Ugh… Take care, and enjoy your weekend.
Good Lord, I wish you’d get better too! There is nothing worse than a coughing jag that goes on forever and ever. The spring that I was preggers with Abigail, that happened to me, and I did not want to take anything. It was horrid.
Pretty flowers. And I hope you get better or something too.
