It was a relaxing and mostly at-home weekend once again, as is my preference this…
Snow!
Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we’ve no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
We’re in the midst of a blizzard here but since Christmas fell on Saturday the library is closed and today is a work holiday for me, Dale is on school vacation, and Hannah is home for winter break.
Sometimes being snowed is in a good thing.

I agree – sometimes being snowed in is a very good thing.
It sounds wonderful actually, as I know you have plenty of good food, plenty of knitting and plenty of love!
So you got a white Christmas a day late! I must admit I’m not too unhappy to be cozy in my house, but… my Colorado daughter really needs to fly out tonight. Morning flight today was canceled very early yesterday and she got the last seat on the last flight out tonight. We shall see…
The snow is so pretty!
This is my favorite photograph! I love the snow on the window outside, and the snowman’s grin is perfect. I hope you have a marvelous day!
It *is* frightful out there! A good day to stay home and hunker down. The plow has made this huge wall of snow at the end of the driveway and the asshat who plows the people across the street thinks he can pile most of it over my stonewall and onto my bushes.
That sounds like the perfect thing – a snow day when nobody minds at all. Enjoy the day!
It would be perfect, if we had power! Lost it at 3:30 this morning. Hoping it comes back on soon! Love the picture, looks so cozy 🙂
The sun is now out in CT and now it comes time to clean off the car. Enjoy being snowed in.
I dream of the day that I’m snowed in! It sounds so cozy!!!
ooooooo
The daffodils are coming up here. It’s ridiculous. Enjoy your snowed in!
N. and I just came in from xc skiing. What fun to be off in the snow!
Until you run out of chocolate…
Sounds perfect. Nothing to do but knit and blog and eat holiday goodies!!!!!!
