It's time to put the fall session of Read With Us behind us and that…
Weekending
This weekend . . .
I had a very fun photo shoot with a 6 month old.
Fought traffic and Christmas shoppers to go pick up my iPhone 6.
Zoomed through the grocery store at record speed. What’s the cost per item when you spend $200 in 40 minutes?
Made a delicious dinner of filet mignon, baked potato and roasted asparagus which we enjoyed while watching a sappy Christmas movie.
Made lussekatter for St. Lucia day. They were deeee-licious.
Made caramels. And peanut butter balls. And toffee with chocolate and sea salt. Tis the season.
Listened to lots (and lots) of Christmas music.
Had a wonderful Saturday night with friends. I was particularly pleased to hang out with my former boss as I miss him terribly.
Watched the Pats squish the fish while stirring (and stirring and stirring) the above mentioned toffee.
Worked at the Kiwanis Christmas tree sales. When we left last night we were down to 40 trees so it’s almost over. Hooray!
How was your weeekend?

So how do you like your new iPhone? I look at my husbands old one and it looks so tiny compared to mine. It sounds like your kitchen was the place to be this weekend. Yay Pats!!

It has been pointed out that a dolphin is not technically a fish……….

Your baking and candy creation all sound delicious!
You get so much done each weekend…I’m always amazed.
We attended a beautiful Cantata put on by one of our local churches. The music and atmosphere were perfect. And I totally left thoughts of everything I need to do at the door.
YUM! Sounds like a great weekend, Carole! (How do you like your phone? I really like my 6. . .)
