Eye Candy Friday

peonies for carole knits

Ahhh, peonies. The quintessential June perennial for me. I love their blowzy petals and their heady fragrance.

We’ve got a busy and fun weekend coming up – a cocktail reception tonight sponsored by the Local Arts Council where I will be (yikes) showing a few of my photographs for the first time, a wedding tomorrow, and Sunday is our 18th wedding anniversary. All happy occasions that call for celebrating!

I hope you all have something to celebrate this weekend, too!

  4. those are all wonderful reasons to celebrate and I look forward to hearing more about them next week! (p.s. peony season here is about six weeks ahead of you…and I’m hoping it’s not all gone by the time I get to Madison on July 1)

  5. Good luck with the photography showing, have fun at the wedding and Happy Anniversary!

  6. Congratulations on the showing and the anniversary! The peonies in our yard came from my parents’ yard, so they have added sentimental value for me.
