Sunday Recap

I spent a good portion of yesterday hanging out, knitting and watching Christmas movies. Dale warned me not to overdose on them since it’s early but I love ’em and that just won’t happen.

Once we ventured out we headed to Norwood to the Winsmith Mill Market. I’d seen this place referenced by a friend on Facebook and thought it looked like a fun place to spend a Sunday afternoon.

I was right! Lots of shops full of salvaged items and some new things, too. Textiles and furniture, wedding gowns, Christmas decorations, vintage clothing and more. We poked around and bought a few gifts and had a really nice time. We will definitely be going back.

We meandered our way home, discussing trying someplace new to eat but ultimately ended up at our very own 99 restaurant. Sometimes it’s just nice to go where everybody knows your name, you know?

I hope you all had a good Sunday. The last one in November and that means, since today is November 30th, that I did it. 30 days and 30 posts. Whew.

  1. Congrats on the big finish! I guess if you’re going to overdose on Christmas, the recovery time on movies is much faster than cookies. Not that I would know.

  2. Hurray for the end of NaBloPoMo! (Although . . . with it falling on a Monday it doesn’t feel like we’re quite finished.) (But oh well.) That looks like a great antique shopping experience.

  3. I am very happy 30 days are up! I will not miss having to come up with a daily post, but I will miss the daily postings from my friends. Yes, I live a double standard.

  4. That looks like a fun place. I will have to take a ride one Sunday. We ended up at 99 last night to with my parents. You just can’t go wrong there.

  5. I’m with Margene; I want to read daily posts from everyone else, but I am definitely ready for a writing break. I do like Dale’s Christmas movie OD warning. It’s not even December yet!

  6. Congratulations! Your Sunday sounds perfect and you must be breathing a sigh of relief along with the feeling of accomplishment!
