A Month of Photos: October 2016

Hard to believe that it’s already November but the calendar doesn’t lie. The good thing is that the beginning of the month calls for a simple blog post – a mosaic of the photos I took in October.

October is certainly a month of transition and change. There were summer-y things like drinks on the deck and produce from our garden but there were also autumn-y (shut up, that is so a word) things like the first fire in the woodstove and boots. As always each photo represents something timely or unique or memorable about each given day, a daily diary in photos is what it really amounts to and it’s an awesome way for me to look back on the month that was.

I hope you all enjoy seeing my month in this format, too.

  1. I love seeing your monthly photo posts — and I’m always so taken by the change in light and color when I take in the collage as a whole! Love!

  2. It looks like there was a lot of red in October! I’m going to be very sorry to not see tomatoes in November, but I bet they will be replaced by something just as nice.

  3. I, too, always enjoy your collages. Still in love with the bee shot (and your boots, of course).

  4. Flashback! But in the very best way. Plus seeing Thing 1 and Thing 2 again got my day off to a good start.

  5. The photos were lovely as usual, but I homed in on the knitting lol! Can’t wait to hear more about that!
