I picked 40 more dahlias yesterday and I suspect this is the last big bunch…
Eye Candy Friday
I got this white orchid about a year ago and I’m so happy that it has bloomed again. I can’t say I did much to make this happen, if anything it seems like this plant thrives on benign neglect. If only more things would!
Let’s not neglect anything this weekend – especially anything fun!

Sadly, the orchids I’ve had (well the real ones anyway) have not thrived on benign neglect. Yours is still stunning! TGIF!!
Beautiful! I think the key to orchids is benign neglect & the patience to not toss them when they look bleak.
My stylist loves them and has a few in her space at work. I asked how come they always bloom. She revealed that she sticks fake stems in the pots when they are between blooms so she’s reminded how pretty those ugly sticks are when they bloom.
Haha! Benign neglect in the orchid department has not worked for me either!! They sure are gorgeous, though. Congrats to you! And happy weekend!!
I’ve had mixed luck with orchids. That one is gorgeous! Happy weekend!!
Just what you need to brighten this potentially boo hiss weather weekend! Enjoy all the rest of it though! 🙂
It looks like your orchid has found just the right home with you! You deserve beautiful blossoms since I think you’re getting snow this weekend. 🙁
You would love the exhibit at the Hirshhorn museum on orchids – photo on my TWTh post from yesterday.
Congrats on the success with yours.
Cheers~
Good job with the neglect! TGIF!
Good work with the neglect is right! Here is to FriYAY! XOXO
Have I mentioned I have the black thumb of death? That’s why I love your gorgeous plant and flower photos.
Don’t know how you managed it, but it’s beautiful. Mine didn’t fare very well.
