Can you handle another hellebore photo? I hope so because that's what I'm sharing with…
Eye Candy Friday
If this photo looks familiar it’s because it’s the same bouquet I showed you Wednesday in watercolor (and let me just clarify, those watercolor photos I show you are made with an app called waterlogue, they are most definitely not watercolor paintings done by me). Normally, I wouldn’t share (basically) the same photo twice in a week but I have a particular reason for sharing it today.
You see, a friend from my town died this week. She’s someone I’ve known for many many years and she was an active part of our community. She was a kind and loving person and her obituary included this quote:
Please don’t bring me flowers but give them to someone who can still appreciate them. Flowers are an important part of my life & you can give me a huge send off with them but then they should go to the living. The best memorial I can have is to be kept safe in the hearts of anyone who has known & loved me.
Today when I shop I will be buying a bouquet of flowers in memory of Dawn. I may keep them for myself or I may give them to a friend. Either way, they will be a lovely reminder of my friend. I hope you’ll consider doing the same. Like love, flowers are meant to be shared.
Have a great weekend.

What a lovely idea. So sorry for your loss.
I’m sorry for your loss. From that request alone, I can get a glimpse of why you were friends with her. I hope your flowers are a reminder of your friend in all the best ways.
Done! I’m meeting a friend for breakfast tomorrow and I shall greet her with a bouquet of tulips! May your friend rest in peace Carole.
I’m sorry for your loss. What a lovely idea to share flowers as a tribute.

Sorry to hear you have lost a friend. But what a lovely sentiment about flowers!
What a lovely reminder of your sweet friend. So sorry to hear of her passing though. Thinking of you.
This sentiment is so lovely. It’s a wonderful way to memorialize a wonderful friend. I’m going to share this with a group of my friends at church.
I really like that sentiment.
I’m sorry for your loss.
What a lovely tribute, Carole. I am sorry for your loss. I will be buying flowers tomorrow and thinking of you and her.
I am sorry you lost your friend. I love the sentiment of sharing flowers with others. Beautiful.
Oh Carole, I’m sorry for your loss … and I love the words you shared about flowers. So many things are better when they’re shared, aren’t they?
