It did indeed rain all day Friday and Saturday and on Saturday the rain was…
This Is Six!
Hold on to your hats, readers, because our little Jackie turns SIX today. I know, I know, it’s not possible . . . but here we are.
And here he is, waiting for the bus on his first day of school.
What I can tell you about Jackie is that he is now in kindergarten and loving school. His favorite color is blue, his favorite animal is a crab, and his favorite food is tacos. He loves to play Minecraft , he’s very good at drawing, and he’s learning to play soccer. He is obsessed with all things related to the ocean and he wants to be a Marine Biologist when he grows up. All reports from his teacher and his bus driver are that he is a kind and well-mannered little boy who is making friends and showing kindness to everyone.
While I sure miss snuggling him as a little baby, it’s really fun to see him run around on the soccer field and it fills me with joy to know that he is thriving.
Happy 6th Birthday to our Jackie!

Happy Birthday, Jackie! I hope he has a great day today and a wonderful year ahead!
Happy Birthday, Jackie! I think six is the best age!
What a handsome six year old!! Happiest of birthdays Jackie and may this year be one filled with wonder and joy for you.
Happy birthday, Jackie! I love tacos too. And it shows your family’s love for the coast that crabs are your favorite animal. Have a special 6th birthday!
How fun! I miss the baby snuggles with our two boys but it is also fun to watch them grow. So good that you can have him close.
NO WAY!!! But if you say so…
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JACKIE!!
Happy Birthday to Jackie!!!
Happy Birthday Jackie!! My little great niece will be 6 in February. Where did these years go.
Happy Birthday Jackie! Have fun on that soccer field!
Oh, I’m a day late . . . but my wish is sincere: Happy Birthday, Jackie! I hope you enjoyed a day just for you. (And there is nothing quite like a 6-year-old boy. Sigh.) (There is a reason A.A. Milne created Christopher Robin as a 6-year-old . . . ) XO
SIX! gosh he looks so grown-up – and how fun to be living close enough for soccer games! (and the occasional snuggle – even “big boys” need snuggles!!)
