Here’s one now:
Several are varieties I’ve grown before, including Rock Run Ashley, Blizzard, and Mystere. But that big two toned one in the front is new to me this year and it’s called Creme de Cassis and I love it. The yellow one in the back is also new and it’s called La Luna.
And here’s the bouquet I picked when we got home from camping on Sunday:
More of the same except for that gorgeous orange and yellow flower in the front. It’s another new variety for me this year and it’s aptly called Sun Explosion.
My dahlias bring me so much joy and I love being able to share the with you, too.

You sure do have some beauties there!
Wow, Carole! Those are just gorgeous! I am very, very impressed!
Dahlia season is delightful, with so many colors and even differing petal arrangements. I’d love a whole bouquet of Creme de Cassis. Thanks for sharing!
Oh, my, Carole! Those dahlias are stunning! I am impressed by your gardening prowess. I may have to plant some to see if I can grow them here. Thanks for sharing them with me.
They’re SO pretty!!! I love dahlia season (even though I don’t grow any myself)!
Oooooo! I love Sun Explosion! I mean, they’re all gorgeous . . . but I love that happy, orange-y bloom in the mix.
They are stunning, as usual! I’m always amazed by the variety of colors.
simply stunning Carole! I had NO idea there were so many varieties and that new-to-you Sun Explosion is summer in a flower for sure.
Beautiful Carole!
