Wildcard Wednesday: Living Room Progress!
Friends, we have a mantel!
It’s simple and classic and I absolutely love it. (ignore those pieces of trim board on top that are sticking out over the edges)
Still waiting on the stone surround to be installed (you can see a sample of what I chose there on the empty hearth) and for it to actually be turned on but this is progress that I am quite excited about.

It looks great, even with the cardboard! It’s going to be so cozy when everything is in place and you’ve got a fire going and decorations on the mantel.
