Time for another . . . 3 random things rambling around in my head. I've…
Three On Thursday
Our Bird Buddy continues to be popular with the feathered friends who visit our backyard. We regularly see Eastern Bluebirds, Goldfinches, Pine Warblers, Carolina Wrens, Chipping Sparrows, House Finches, Blue Jays, Tufted Titmice, and more. The photos aren’t always great but I’ve managed to collect 3 in the last week or so that I think are worthy of sharing with you.
Seeing them enjoying a snack against a snowy backdrop brings me a lot of delight and I hope you feel the same way.
Fun pictures Carole – so close up!! I don’t have a bird buddy, but I do have a feeder attached to one of my office windows. Unfortunately a squirrel keeps getting in it and devouring ALL the sunflower seeds…and he is beginning to destroy the feeder!
What a fun 3 on Thursday! I wish I would get bluebirds to my feeder! I have tried in the past but have never had success!
What fun shots, Carole! My poor Bird Buddy is temporarily out of commission. Some hungry critters (squirrels? raccoons?) were not happy with the food selection I was offering (too spicy, apparently), so they decided to remove the Buddy from its holder . . . and kick it around the yard for a while. It’s . . . cracked and wonky now. I’m waiting until the weather warms up again to see if I can salvage it. But it may be . . . Done. So I’ll just enjoy your birds, instead! XO
Oh, fun pictures, Carole. I love watching the birds at my feeder, but I don’t get this up-close view. These are really good.
I love feeding the birds and watching them is always a source of joy. Seeing them up close is even better!
A bluebird!!! We have a birdfeeder hanging from the porch just outside the kitchen/dining area windows, and it’s so fun to see everyone! They make a mess, but I’m able to tolerate it… so far. 😉
Thank you for sharing these — I just love these bird shots! Perhaps one day I’ll break down and get my own Bird Buddy, even though I have a feeling the birds who would come to it wouldn’t be very exciting. I did have a rather exciting bid encounter yesterday as I was walking down my street and nearly got dive-bombed by a hawk!
Fun photos! On a recent walk I saw a Red-crowned Kinglet, and we’ve also had some nuthatches at our bird feeder lately.
So happy that you are back online! I love these bird pictures! ??
