I have a finished hat to show you today! It’s the Santa Hat that my friend Sean designed. He had initially knit this for himself but when I asked him to write up the pattern and share it he willingly complied. Yay!
The pattern is free on Ravelry and the yarn is Rowan Kid Classic in the colors Feather and Cherry Red. It’s a well written pattern and easy to follow and should have been a fast knit. In fact, it was a pretty fast knit and it’s been done for weeks . . . all I had to do to finish it was attach the pom pom – I went with this fun faux fur variety instead of a traditional one made from yarn. I finally attached it yesterday (it took less than 5 minutes! why do we procrastinate these little details?!) and I am happy to share it with you today.
Here’s the modeled shot. I will be styling for this year’s Christmas Parade!
And you rock that charming hat! As for the procrastination, I got nothin’.

Too cute! 🙂
That is the cutest Santa hat ever, Carole! And I love the faux fur pompom. It’s the perfect finishing touch for that hat. And you are gonna be ROCKIN’ the look next holiday season, for sure. Perfection! XO
Fantastic! And look — your Christmas knitting (well, some of it?) is done and it’s only May!
That is a terrific Santa hat, Carole, and it looks great on you! You are all ready for the Christmas parade.
Love this Carole and the faux fur pom-pom is perfect (better than a yarn one I think). You look too freakin’ cute in the hat! You may need to make one for Jackie…..
oh my goodness, Carole, how awesome!! (not that any of us are wishing for Christmas anytime soon, though 😉 )
That is the darn cutest Santa hat I have ever seen, and the model ain’t bad either! It looks perfect on you, Carole.
It looks great, Carole! That’s the nicest Santa hat I’ve ever seen!
