SPA is always a lovely weekend away with friends and I'm going to tell you…
That Other Weekend Thing
Some of you are pretty clever. You saw my ad selling my Hitchhiker Wheel on the Spin Sales list a day after you saw Adrian’s ad selling her Kromski Polonaise and you put two-and-two-together and came up with four. And your math was correct. Bye-bye Hot Lips and Hello Pollyanna.
For those of you who like the details, you can read about her particulars here.
Isn’t she lovely? The finish is walnut and she came with a matching stool, too.
She spins like a dream and, while I can’t imagine loving any wheel more than I love my Reeves, I think Pollyanna is going to give Rosie a run for her money.
Of course, I didn’t need another wheel, but I just couldn’t resist this one. And, let’s just say that Adrian made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. She’d make a good godfather, that Adrian.

Gorgeous! Use her well.
You must never count on me to be clever 😉 Congrats on the new wheel, she’s lovely!
Beautiful! Looks like a match made in heaven.
Indeed a beautiful wheel! I had one but we just didn’t bond. I wish you a very happy relationship!
Pollyanna is a beauty.
She’s a beauty! But I’m noticing you’ve deviated from your naming of your wheel rule using the first letter of the wheel’s maker. This time you used the first letter of the wheel’s model name. I like it. What fiber are you spinning on her?
Boy, that Manise doesn’t miss a beat does she?! I love the Polonaise, i think it’s beautiful. had I not found my Reeves Norwegian when I did I would have been fighting you for this one!
Another wheel! YAY!
🙂
Nice!! :o))
That wheel is a beauty.
Well, as a LONG TIME Kromski fan, I send my heartiest congratulations! Can you tell me what those Kromski haters are talking about? I have the Symphony (it was a toss-up, but came down to a style issue) and think it is the bargain of the wheel world. I still use my Minstrel all the time, and adore the new Sonata. (I don’t bother to reename as I think Mr. Kromski did a fine job, except that the travelling Sonata should be the Minstrel and vice versa….). Anyway, it’s gorgeous (my dear friend in Idaho has the Polonaise in natural to go with her Swedish decor!) and I wish you many happy spinning hours on it!
The wheel is beautiful and I loved your fair pics from yesterday!
You sold your Hitchhiker? You did a good job of trading up! She’s a beauty.
AWESOME!! I love it!
Beautiful! I nearly got a Polonaise as my second wheel before I settled on the Majacraft. I’m sure you and Pollyanna will make beautiful yarn together. Congrats!
It looks like she’s treating you right. I couldn’t be happier for you and Pollyanna!
Going back to Manise’s comment, what about Kathryn? 🙂
I don’t know much about spinning wheels, but I can see that she’s beautiful!
ooooo..I’m so jealous! Everyone’s getting wheels!
She’s gorgeous…I love the color.
I know nothing about wheels, but the wood is gorgeous!
Yay You!
(((hugs)))
yeah like that was a surprise.
There’s always room for one more. 😉
Enjoy!
I’m so glad it went to a good home! And I love that note Dale left for you when you got Rosie!
So your the bedroom spinner 🙂 She is gorgeous.
Sigh!
So pretty. I’m trying to make myself spin a little everyday so that I can justify a traditional wheel. I’m just green with envy over here!
I gotta start reading that list more often.
Ah, soooo beautiful! Someday I would like room for a saxony style wheel.
Awesome! I just received my first two Bosworth spindles and now I want many more of them. They are so nice. I waffled until I read several of your posts and then I just jumped in feet first. Thanks for helping me decide. 🙂
She’s beautiful!
Congratulations on your new wheel!
Lucky you!
I knew it. 🙂
Congrats! The new wheel is beautiful.
Beautiful!
I found you on Ravelry beacuse we have four like projects! I thought I would check you out! Nice wheel! Congrats!!!! Cool blog, too!
Oh Carole, it is so pretty! Enjoy your newest wheel!
I haven’t been able to get on your blog for days. I have no idea why, but it’s working for me now I see. Enjoy your long weekend!
She’s gorgeous!! Congrats!
What a beautiful wheel!
oh the kromski is lovely . . i have test-driven those and they are so smooth!
nothing beats a new wheel 😉
OOHHH!!! I’m feeling faint over here…
Oh, so you’re the one that was “looking” at the wheel? When I saw Adrian’s post, I really wished I lived in the US, because I would have bought it in a heartbeat. Lucky you that you live so close, and you were able to bring home such a beautiful wheel! I’m looking forward to seeing how you and Pollyanna get along 🙂
What a beauty? Is Dale afraid? Soon there will be no room left for HIM.
Oh man. SO jealous.
