I know, because of the comments from last week, that many of you enjoy reading…
Ten on Tuesday
I had a great time Patriotizing (as Deb put it) yesterday. Dale did yard work and I sat on the deck and knit. I also took a few photos.
But enough of that because this week’s Ten on Tuesday is:
10 Things You Love About Your Life
1. I have a wonderful, loving, funny, supportive husband.
2. I have a great kid. She does well in school, she has good friends, and she reads every day.
3. And 3 great stepkids. And 2 great stepgrandkids.
4. I have a job that I enjoy.
5. I get to work with people I truly like.
6. I have friends all across the country.
7. I have satisfying hobbies. I love knitting and spinning.
8. I live in a great part of the country. We’ve got history and scenery and I can be at the ocean in 30 minutes.
9. You know I love my cat, Mason.
10. I have all the stuff I need and want. Sure, I save for certain things but mostly, if I want something I get it.
What do you love about your life?

Most of those (all but 3 and 4, I think). And a few others as well. Hmm…
We are all very blessed.
I enjoyed your 10 on Tuesday! I am jealous that you are so close to the ocean, though!
I have many things to love about my life right now, but most important of all are my family and friends!
🙂
You’d be surprised at just how many of those I’d claim too! Cat names and ocean not withstanding, I’d say we’re even – 10 for 10!
Hmm….I might just swipe this idea if you don’t mind? 🙂
You have a wonderful life, and I’m so glad you share it with us!
(((hugs)))
That’s a great one.
Great list. Sounds like a wonderful life! Loved your photo too.
I enjoyed your list and mine would be very similar. Except I’m 30 minutes from the mountains instead of the ocean. I love this country we live in and I’m so thankful for the freedoms we have.
Nice list! And it sounds like you had a great Patriot’s Day “watching” Dale do the yard work :).
Being in my 40s. Seriously. You couldn’t pay me to go back to the 20s and 30s. And I bet the 50s will be even better!
There is much to be thankful for. It’s a good idea to list it out, just as a reminder for the times in life when things don’t go as smoothly as we would like.
Family, Friends and especially Children make life wonderful!
Beautiful post and that photo is stunning! My thankful list is very long. I am thankful for great blog posts that make me smile! 🙂
My list, I think, would be quite long. I love that you made me stop and think about the things that I love.
Right now I’m loving that gorgeous sky you posted!
i should do such a post today but i won’t. i don’t have it in me 😉 i am thankful for you though.
You, baby! (And lots of other things too!)
What a wonderful list.
What a great list! I can related to many of them – mostly I’m very grateful to have gotten to where I am career-wise, 2 years ago I dreamed of being here, and now I’m here. Very exciting. Alongside that has come a lot of personal growth which I’m thankful for, along with my two wonderful dogs who keep me company.
Liked your ten on tuesday … I posted mine on my blog today…
My list and yours would be rather similar, save for the cat, I suppose (I’m allergic, sadly), oh, and no grand-kids yet. But otherwise… 🙂
Hard to pick a top ten. I think I love your life too Carole! 🙂
Your package went out in yesterday’s mail – Yay!
I think you need a #11 to include Dixon. She is awfully sweet and has a cute smile!
I’m thankful for YOU who after all included me at the NHS&W blogger lunch in ’06 where I met all of the fibering buddies I have now! And who got me on the road to spinning with the loaning of dear Alice for 10 months! And other stuff too … 🙂
what a lovely post.
let’s see…. my children (Erin and Kate), my cats (Emily and Di), my friends, my hobbies: knitting, spinning, weaving, my garden, my job. That’s a bunch of love 🙂
A great list, and the photo is gorgeous!
I completely forgot that Monday was a holiday…oops!
I love pretty much everything about my life – this week, however, I love that Dobby is in London and the house is quiet. ;o)
