I know, because of the comments from last week, that many of you enjoy reading…
Ten on Tuesday
The theme for this week’s Ten on Tuesday is a fantastic one. 10 Favorite Things to do During “Me” Time. I love me time. This is going to be a piece of cake.
1. Knit. Duh.
2. Spin. Yet another duh.
3. Take pictures. Whether it’s taking a walk in the yard or heading somewhere fun with Dale, I love to spend time taking photos.
4. Watch “Everybody Loves Raymond” reruns. This is definitely one of my guilty pleasures.
5. Read. I’ve always got a book nearby.
6. Bake. Baking is a great stress reliever for me.
7. Hang out on Ravelry. Rearrange my queue. Catch up on the forums. See what my friends are knitting and faving. Good times.
8. Play zuma. Why yes, I am still obsessed, thankyouverymuch.
9. Go for a pedicure. It’s so relaxing and indulgent.
10. Play with the Wii. Guitar Hero, Mario Kart, it’s all good.
That was easy! How about you? What do you do with your “me time”?

Great list! I’m thinking of making one, but yours is pretty close to what mine would be…
Knit, read, eat, sleep…um, that’s not 10. Repeat!
Me, knit…that’s about it. 😉
Definitely knit, sew, and bake. I also love our new Wii. I would add gardening and walking/running (if it’s not too hot).
Read. Walk. Read. Knit. Read. 😉
Me time? There’s such a thing? I squeeze out thirty minutes on Monday night to watch “The Big Bang Theory” (highly recommended), a few hours on Sunday morning in front of the news shows whilst reading the less demanding parts of the Sunday NYTimes, x amount of time reading before falling asleep and some stolen moments in the john!
Knit, read (I have Kindle on my iPod….love!), spin, make jewelry, garden, sew, decorate, bake bread, clean (NOT!) and watch Everybody Loves Raymond reruns. I thought I was the only one….
Are we twins? Except – I’d have to swap out Law & Order reruns!
My list looks a whole lot like yours. Not a surprise at all.
I have to get my list ready, though it won’t be terribly different from yours.
You know, I never watched Everybody Loves Raymond when it was on, but I do enjoy the reruns!
1,2,5,6 yes. Sing, garden, do beadwork, hike, refinish furniture, embroidery. That was easy!
I have two babies. What’s me time?
Oh so many of the same things and I’d do That 70’s Show for my mindless TV indulgence – it just never gets old!
Hmmmm. I might have to use this for a blog post.
This is a great one!
Some of my answers:
Knit of course
take photos of course
Walk with my dog, not close to home. Dog adventure. 🙂
Massage
knit shop crawl
watch THe Office
I should have put pedicure on my list – I got one yesterday and it was AWESOME.
I completely agree with 5 of them…. and I’d add walking in my garden, and walking on the beach to your list.
errrr…. what’s zuma? (am I totally behind the times here?)
Save for Raymond (not a big TV watcher) and the spinning (a habit I haven’t yet formed, much to my dismay) my list looks exactly like yours.
I’d add in get a massage near the top, and go for a hike with my husband. (Or, better yet, LEARN to SPIN!!)
I also like “Me” time so this week’s list was a piece of cake (which is something else I like during my me time but didn’t add to my list). 🙂
Of course the top 2 items on my list match yours.
Wonderful list, Carole!
Zuma never gets old.
I’m with you on 1-3 and 5-7. I’ve never watched ELR and I’ve never played Zuma. No, I don’t want to learn how, although it’s kind of you to offer.
Getting a pedicure was my #1 because I hardly ever get one I guess. I’ve never heard of Zuma.
knit, read, garden, read your blog, Gilmore girls w/my teen, read w/my preteen, action-adventure flicks, run, cook anything involving garlic (love the garlic!), do any of the above near an ocean, lake, pool, bathtub… Thanks for asking 😉
your list looks alot like mine might. except replace raymond with the A&E version of pride and prejudice. quilting for spinning. and i have no idea how to play zuma. and no Wii for me. maybe a beer instead.
Know I put read on my list – must have put knit too – I’ll have to check.
I can relate to your list…a lot!
Hmmm…we have similar lists. In fact, I think I will do something from the list instead of typing up my own list.
I love Zuma! Have you played Marble Lines on FB? It’s similar.
Dude, we love the same things! Even the Everybody Loves Raymond one…I love that show. I think I’ve seen every episode tens of times and yet, I don’t get tired of it.
