We Are Family
We had a great time at Family Day with Hannah on Saturday. We took Jess and Patrick with us and they got to visit the campus for the first time.
Hannah is doing really well and we all enjoyed spending time with her.
The school did a fine job of making it a fun day. There were carnival rides and a balloon artist.
There was a juggler and a delicious (although it would have been more delicious had the food actually been hot) luncheon.
There was football.
Complete with a mascot.
And my dear daughter in her first college performance. She did a terrific job. Her comedic timing is awesome and her stage presence is so good and we were all very very proud of her.
Imagine that.

Congrats to Hannah and now you can rest easy that she makes friends and has adjusted to college life. I don’t remember being that young. Maybe, I wasn’t?
You packed a lot into one day! I’m glad you had fun.
So glad you had a good weekend! What show was Hannah in?
how can you not be proud of her!?
It looks like a wonderful event. Hannah seems to have acclimated to it very well. I look into my crystal ball and home my nearly seventeen year old will do as well!
Aw, so glad you all had a fun day with Hannah! Of course she was great in her first performance … she’s totally awesome 🙂

It’s so fine to hear you had a lovely weekend with your family!! Go Hannah!!!
What a nice weekend — she sure looks happy!
Hey, cool! College football with one’s tush on a splintery bleacher is the only fine kind of football, imo. AND, you got the only sunny weekend day, right?
Imagine that. 🙂 Glad it was a fun weekend Carole. And Saturday was a great day!
congrats to Hannah and Congrats to you, Dale and Rick for raising a great kid
Yay!
Sounds like an all around wonderful time.
Sounds like a great family weekend! And what a beautiful day Saturday was, too! I do remember fondly visiting my daughters at their schools. Always such fun to meet the other friends and families.

Sounds really great – so glad she’s doing so well!
Yay! I’m glad you had great weather and a great time!
When N. and I go to see WSU football games, he gets a kick out of shouting “show ’em your talons!” I shrink a little, but I’m always happy to let out some HOOTS!
