My Sunday In Pictures

On Sunday I:

Chocolate Chip Cookies blog size

Baked chocolate chip cookies.

Hello Yarn Merino Bamboo Nylon blog size

Spent some time spinning. The fiber is a Hello Yarn monthly installment,  it’s  a combo of merino, bamboo and nylon. I’m thinking socks.

Spartan Sweater Start blog size

Did some knitting. This is the project I started on Saturday and it’s a sweater for Dale. The pattern is the Spartan  Sweater from Interweave Knits, Fall 2006.

Jambalaya blog size

Made jambalaya. It was goooooood.

I also watched football (boo Pats), blocked the Stupidly Easy Triangular Shawl, and packed up a box full of love to send to Hannah.

It was a good day.

  1. Yowza! Sounds like you were uber productive. What a great way to start a new week. Happy Monday, Carole!

  2. YUM!! The jambalaya looks so good…do you have recipe here somewhere? Also, you did keep some of those yummy cookies for yourself and Dale? I know Hannah will enjoy getting some-hope she’s doing well 🙂
    PS-loved seeing your weekend posts!

  3. You were way more productive than I was … although I did manage to get 1 1/2 repeats of chart A on the shawl done 🙂 That jambalaya looks yummmy!

  4. I’m sure Hannah will be so happy to get a box of love from home. Especially if it has some of those cookies in it. Now I want cookies too.

  5. Or it could be “ten things to do on a wintry weekend.” Yes, I know it’s not winter yet, but it did feel a bit wintry yesterday nonetheless.

  6. If those cookies are for Hannah, remind her where my office is!!

Neal wants me to knit him the same sweater. I have to get him to the LYS so he can pick out some yarn!

  7. I’m loving your every day of the week posts! and think showing sunday in pictures is a great idea. especially since yours had cookies, spinning, knitting and REAL food!
