An Early Christmas Delivery

Sing along with me to this tune from Vince Vance & the Valiants, won’t you?

Take back the holly and mistletoe
Silver bells on string
If I wrote a letter to Santa Claus
I would ask for just one thing (any guesses? anyone? Bueller?)

I don’t need sleigh rides in the snow
Don’t want a Christmas that’s blue
Take back the tinsel, stockings, and bows
‘Cuz all I want for Christmas is you

I don’t need expensive things (well, this is a teeny bit expensive)
They don’t matter to me
All that I want, can’t be found
Underneath the Christmas tree (because it’s on my kitchen windowsill already)

You are the angel atop my tree
You are my dream come true
Santa can’t bring me what I need
‘Cuz all I want for Christmas is you

  1. I’m so excited for you! Talk to me – what does this little gem do that the last one (I don’t quite remember what camera you had) doesn’t? The reason I am asking all the questions is because my daughter and I are going to get a DSLR after Christmas and were looking for recommendations.

Indeed a Merry Christmas at Carole Knits! Have fun with your new camera 🙂

  2. It is hard for me to imagine that your pictures will be any better! I already enjoy them so. But I do trust you, and know if you want this camera there must be something special about it! Enjoy! And Merry Christmas!

  3. Awww – someone really loves you, doesn’t he? Congratulations!
I would be interested in what you recommendations you have
for Donna for a camera. That’s on my list after Christmas. Happy picture taking!! Can’t wait to see your pictures with the new camera!

  4. And to think I was excited about my little Cannon elph. Now THAT’S a camera! I’m looking so forward to seeing what you do with it!

  5. Whoa! That is one nice camera! You’ll have to let us know more about it. I plan to buy a nice camera at some unknown point in the future (like when I win the lottery — ha ha) and I currently know very little about them.
