I didn't mean to abandon the blog last week after Wednesday but I had a…
Weekending
This weekend was terrific and busy and fun
Friday was haircut day (a major change!) and errands and a quiet evening at home with Dale
Saturday started with a 2.5 mile run on the treadmill – early – in order to get it done before my budget hearing
Working on a Saturday is not something I enjoy, especially when the schedule is running 2 hours late
The afternoon was short and spent prepping for our friend’s St. Patrick’s Day Party
And that was awesome
Friends, family, food and beer, dancing and bourbon and laughing until our sides hurt
Sunday morning came much too quickly after a 2:30 am bedtime
But there were pancakes to be made for the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast
More food and fun, Irish music and raffles, all for our great Kiwanis Club
Sunday afternoon included a lovely nap and a visit with a friend
It all ended with another quiet evening at home, much the way the weekend began
I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

We need to see that haircut!!
I love the rainbow of fruit.
You always pack into your weekends just the right amount of fun!
A jam-packed fun-filled weekend, what could possibly be better?
I second the request for a hair pic!! 🙂
What, no picture of boiled cabbage?
I’ve learned my lesson – eat breakfast BEFORE I check your blog. That way, I’m not afflicted with hunger pangs when I see your yummy photos of food!
Man! You get more done in a weekend than I get done in a week! Kudos to you for contributing so much to your local community, Carole. Happy Monday.
When are you going to do the big haircut reveal? The fruit is so beautiful!
Yay for fun weekends! Can’t wait to see the haircut. I’m thinking you went shorter?
We know what a weekend is! 🙂 Glad you had fun Carole and I think I got a peek at that haircut on FB and it looks great!
I thought I saw a shorter ‘do in a FB photo over the weekend! (Plus . . . I’ve been expecting this . . . give your recent pins on Pinterest!) Can’t wait to see it — and so glad you had a great weekend!
Sounds like a great one, indeed!
