Today is April Fool’s Day and I’ve got something fun in store for our Ten on Tuesday topic. Listed below are 10 statements about me. Some of them are true. And some of them are false. Your job is to figure out which is which. Ready?

  1. I bake bread weekly.
  2. Knitting is my current favorite crafty hobby. Before that it was quilting. And before that counted cross stitch.
  3. I have been to Italy, England and France.
  4. I have gone deer and turkey hunting.
  5. I am left handed.
  6. I would rather have yellow cake than chocolate cake.
  7. I don’t really talk about it on the blog but I went to a private high school.
  8. If I wasn’t a librarian I would be a lawyer.
  9. I cried when I watched this week’s episode of The Good Wife.
  10. I’m thinking of giving up blogging.

  1. Well, my guess is the following are true: 2,4,5,7,8,9. 7 & 8 are just guesses, but hey. A girl has to go with her gut. 🙂

    I think #’s 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are true! I can’t imagine 10 being true – certainly hope not!!

  4. Oh, you are clever. Such a fun topic, Carole! I think #3 and #10 are April-Fool statements. And I’m betting you like chocolate cake better than yellow . . . and I’m pretty sure you’re not left handed. But, well. You’ve got me stumped! XO

  5. I think 6, 7 and 10 are false. I can totally see 8 being true. I also think 2 is true because I don’t count photography as a crafty hobby. The rest I’m sure on.

I thought a while back that you wrote that you’d love to go to Europe but hadn’t made it there yet, and I remember mention of your quilting and the importance of blogging, but I don’t have a clue about the other stuff, except, who doesn’t like chocolate? BTW, I was initially ambidextrous, but chose to write with my left hand.

  17. I’m terrible at this stuff — both making up things about myself and figuring out what’s T/F about others. Though I’m pretty sure that you do NOT bake bread every week… I think I’d have seen a few pictures about that over the years!!
