Wednesdays Are For Knitting: Mary’s Birthday Socks
Forgive me knitters, for I have sinned.
It has been 131 days since I last posted a pair of finished socks on this here blog.
I know.
Here we are, though, with a pair of birthday socks for my awesome sister-in-law, Mary.
Mary is a gardener extraordinaire and I thought the colors of this yarn would be perfect for her. I was right – she loves them!
It’s my basic picot edge pattern, nothing new or fancy.
But knit with lots and lots of birthday love.

Love the colors! Did you give those to her at the concert last week? I meant to ask you if you had knit her socks – lol. I’m sure she loves them.
Beautiful!! Happy Birthday Mary!
The colors are beautiful, like Mary’s morning glories 🙂
Great colors! Happy Birthday Mary!
These look like lovely lupine colors!
Isn’t it wonderful we can make such welcome and delightful gifts for people we love? The socks are perfect.
Great colors. Lucky sister-in-law.
Picot edge is always sweet and fancy!
I love those colors. I wish they were for me!
